Droid HTC DNA photos to Mac OS 10.4??

New phone. Had no problem with the Droid 2. Now I see I need a special program to sync my photos but they all seem to need more than the 10.4 of my mac (please don't suggest I update....LONG story). How the heck can I get the photos off my phone and onto my computer? I am quite frustrated.

All/Any help greatly appreciated. Please keep it simplistic!
