Droid for fat finger clutzes?

I would like to use a Droid, but I have yet to try a touch screen phone that my fat, clumsy fingers can make work. My wife has a Droid RAZR and before that had a Droid X. I can't do anything useful on them. I am a SW developer and am quite knowledgeable about computers, I just have clumsy fingers. Does anyone have a recommendation?

If you want sheer size, check out the Galaxy Note 2.. Also if you download a keyboard like SwiftKey 3 they have an option for making the keys a bit bigger or smaller.
