Droid Extended Batteries -coming soon-Link

    Seidio has 2 place holders for extended batteries.

    1st Battery is standard size and fits in existing Droid cover.
    2nd Battery is larger and will include a larger cover.

    Awesome, my battery usually lasts my whole day but the extra power will be nice for those long days.

    Can't wait! I had one of their batteries in my Palm Pre and it was a godsend. Not sure I want this phone to get fat though so I might stick with the regular size one.

    can not wait for an extended battery but dont want the one that makes it thicker. Will be interesting to see how much the think extended adds to its life

    24 hours in a day

    Since each day is the same length (approx 24 hours), what is the difference between 'whole day' and 'long day'?

    i think this has something to do with the extra day in a leap year...a crescent moon and the subsequent tide changes also may account for this.
