Does anyone know if the Droid Eris player can be put onto the Motorola Droid? I have searched around but can't seem to find an answer. I would have thought that someone must have been able to get it off the Eris and onto another phone.

I'm a bit of newb - are you saying there is a ROM called Zeus that will basically give me the HTC Sense UI on the Moto Droid?
Is there a way to just get the Music Player App - I don't really want or need any of the rest of what Eris has.

well ime sorry to say but you have to get the rom because you cant just rip a widget and put it on the droid it requires alot of system files and re coding thats why they just took the whole sense ui and put it on a rom

OK. I didn't know that the Eris music player was a widget - thought it was an app and if you rooted the Eris would be able to delete the app or copy it off or something.
So I guess I need to wait until some enterprising person re-creates that player (or a close approximation) as an app for purchase.
