DROID coming to China / OPhone MT710

just want to let you know that the DROID continues the victory over the world. It reaches Chine, beeing named the OPhone MT710.

Sweet looking phone... however I don't get why one side is rounded and the other isn't (?)
The bracket/stylus is a nice idea. Choice of two colors (red/gray)... not bad. That chrome bezel really jumps out at you!

It's a sharp device.

i'm digging the one side rounded... just don't know why... well nevermind, i guess that clears my own confusion... they did it because it looks cool. duh, shame on me.

I wanna know about the slider keyboard too... is it there? is it not?

Maybe they have it rounded on one side so when you have it in landscape mode if feels smoother on your fingers since that's where the weight rests.

That could be true, if you landscape that phone it would feel more like a PSP in your fingers.... sounds logically

Its a nice looking phone but I don't see how it even resembles the Droid other then being made by motorola and having a touch screen. I dont even believe it is running android, it looks like a cheap knockoff of android. I think that if it was an android phone you would see Google's name slapped somewhere on it and still see some of the signiture looks on the android OS and some of the apps.

funny,my droid was made on china! (that's what the box that the droid comes said *made in china*,shut,I was thinking only the toys from disneyword were made in china!)

Just because this new handset runs an Android OS doesn't make it a DROID, and to be quite honest, this doesn't resemble the Android OS in the least.

Frankly, I'm not really into this Moto smartphone, and find the (actual) DROID much more appealing.​

Well, as written before, thats just rumors....

But i just think its real stylish, and if it has a snapdragon and some more RAM
it could be a real burner, running android.

Also it has a really nice style!

Just some details for you guys from China. The phone has been released and has relatively the same hardware specs as droid except only comes with a 4Gig SD card. Its UI, called ophone is built on top of android 1.5 much like sense UI to accomodate chinese users . Here is the kicker, it costs 5500RMB, which is roughly 800USD. Arent you glad you live in the good old USA?
