I am having a time trying to get my phone updated to the, I think it's called, the Gingerbread 2.3.6 update. I am VERY VERY new to rooting and this is my first phone that I've rooted. It will prompt me that there is an update available. It downloads and then restarts but stops on the screen showing the triangle with an exclamation mark in the center of it and a little android guy beside it. I have looked at several different threads about installing just the update or putting it back to stock, updating and then rooting again. I just rooted yesterday and I didn't do the update because I had an issue with updating before trying to root with my Bionic and then couldn't root. Can someone HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!! I made a backup of the stock when I first installed CWM, but it is not showing in the list of backups available to restore. HELP PLEASE!!
