Not sure if this has been discussed before but I recently purchased a Droid case with a magnetic closure and found out that this isn't the best type to have since the Droid also uses magnetic sensors to "sense" that it is in the docking station and/or car mount holder. After using the case a few times the Droid would show at the top of the home screen that it was connected to the docking station and/or car holder. Finally took the Droid out of the case and used the magnet to move around the phone and the same message(s) appeared again. Not a huge deal other than the fact that the prolonged on time of the screen will certainly reduce battery life. To bad as this was one of the best leather vertical cases I had found.

Just some FYI.. have a great holiday!

Read the same thing, had the hoster with the magnetic in it, and took it back for the one with the velcro.
