1. You want that $100.00 in your pocket or an Amazon Fire TV don't you? Well here's the deal. With our new updated look we are in desperate need of an updated logo. The 'old' one has certainly served us well, but it's time. Find all the details here: bit.ly/1q0k6Wa

i think i know the answer but just wanted to double check. Ive been creating boot logos for the droid x and you can apply them to update.zip files and boot from clockwork. everything i seem to be reading about the droid is that you have to use rsdlite and flash it. is this the only known way? is there a known way right now to make a update.zip instead of flashing it.

Thanks in advance. just looking to spread some creation.

I'm not entirely sure about the X, but I know you can simply name the boot bootanimation.zip and dump it into system/media via root explorer and you should be good to go without having to use RSD or go into recovery.

Oh, well yeah RSD is the only way I know of.

When I did mine I had a program that took the right sized image and converted it into a SBF.

I think that area is locked as it comes up before the bootloader loads in, so you might be stuck with that method.

Actually here's a link to an app that claims to do it that you can download from the market. Says the X is supported. I have no clue how well it works if at all though.
