Verizon just announced that they have dropped the price on the Motorola Droid Bionic. You can now pick up the handset from them on a new contract for $99.99. Here is a fragment of their statement:

The DROID BIONIC™ by Motorola is now available online at Cell Phones - Smartphones: Cell Phone Service, Accessories - Verizon Wireless for $99.99 with a new two-year customer agreement. The BIONIC, at its new price, will be available in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores in the coming weeks. Enhance the BIONIC experience with a suite of accessories ranging from memory cards for music and picture storage to sports headphones for listening to music.

Of course, we always want our members to be able to find the best deals possible, so it's important to share that Amazon and WireFly also have some specials on the still powerful and relevant phone. Over at Amazon you can get the phone on a new contract for just $29.99, or the same price of $99.99 for a renewal contract. WireFly is even better. They have the phone for $19.99 for a new contract, and just $49.99 on a renewed contract.

That's actually a pretty good deal. Considering it is guaranteed to get ICS. Plus has great specs.
