Youtube Droid X review, it shows the UI in depth.
Thank you YODES and everyone else for your help!!!
If the Droid and Droid X are both not rooted, then the Droid X will be a lot better as far as processing and power. 1 GHZ processor vs. 550 MHZ processor. 8 vs. 5 MP Camera. The Droid X does 720P HD video recording. However, the Droid can be overclocked to 1 GHZ and you can install custom ROMs since the Droid has already been rooted, also the Droid has a physical keyboard and a great community behind it. It might be awhile until the Droid X gets rooted or maybe it could be very fast. Once the Droid X gets rooted, then you should be able to overclock it and install custom ROMs on it as well. Hope that helps.
@above: 550MHz not GHz.
ADMIN EDIT: Fixed his typo -New2u
The Android OS on the Droid X goes double up and right for the first version while the second version will go down two and left right. So he is kind of right but I'm not sure how he knows all this information because it hasn't been released yet. All we know is the Droid goes up one and right for 2.1. 2.2 should be released soon and maybe the Droid will go double up and right as well.
i could see it doubling down, but double up and right? thats just crazy talk
I'm sure Verizon would love to hear that their sales reps are telling people that before the phone has even been released. I know it might not matter since he was pushing you towards the original Droid, but bad mouthing their latest and greatest phone is a no no.
would you mind telling me just what the hell he just said
I think 550ghz and a flux capacitor would be a nice addition to the next droid
Bill suggested it so I'm not sure about it, he was too right with 2.0. :icon_eek:
