    Very good info...

Of course, I'd be extremely hesitant to allow my kids anywhere near my DROID, and don't consider it a child's device on any level.

They can always use their DS/DSI/PSP etc for that kind of thing - IMO

Ya, but when the DS/DSI/PSP runs out of batteries the Droid kid apps are a life saver for long road trips.

Toddler lock is a good app also once going they cant access anything at all.

    Dash & Ditto's Playground

My husband is a programmer and was also disappointed with a lot of kid's apps on droid, so he decided to partner with a local artist here in Seattle to make a new kid's game app (with the help of my 3 year old son - although the game is fun for up to age 8-10 or the very young at heart :)).

It's a great deal for a 7-in-1 game, but you can also check out the free version to see if your kids like it. It's called, Dash & Ditto's Playground and you can find it at: http://market.android.com/searchq=pn...playgroundfree

The classic children's games they adapt in this app include: hopscotch, tic-tac-toe, a whack-a-mole style game, feed/catch baby bunnies (or even make them dance), jump rope, one hole of mini-golf and an original driving game where you pick up the animal characters in the school bus (this is my favorite, since I'm a mom, and I like the way it rewards my child for paying attention. :))

I hope your kids like it as much as my son did!

Zoodles is a great app, full of all kinds of games. A nice bonus is that you can get a weekly email telling you what your kid has been doing on the app or the pc and it will attach all the drawings they do to. My daughter also loves the lego 4+ game.

Hi the app that I have developed may not be that relevant for five year-olds as it teaches children to multiply numbers together as large as 12. After the child has perfected their ability to multiply certain numbers they can take a quest which will give them a very accurate representation of their ability to multiply certain numbers.

If you are interested in downloading my app from the Google play store here is the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=timestables.testquest.nickbroom
