    Hey Guys,

Is the Droid always supposed to boot into the bootloader when a USB connection is present? I engaged the bootloader when I was rooting, and now it's a minor nuisance that I can't reboot while my phone is docked without going to the bootloader.

Is this a common problem? I couldn't find anything with searches.

Umm, well, I am using the one that came with the Motorolla Media dock.

This really seems to be something on the phone... maybe it's because I have usb debugging on?

    Edit: Nope.

    No.

Does the usb cable you are using have the EcoMoto tag on it?

Well, that's humble pie on my face. I thought I was, but I must've accidentally swapped in an LG one instead.

I switched to the Moto one and it's fine.

Thank you sir, that was an excellent diagnosis.

Would that have any other effects?

Not that I know of. The LG usb cables have that effect though :D

    Seems to charge fine otherwise.

Since I seem to have lost my other Moto cable, can I safely use this LG one in a wall charger?

Edit: NM, I just re-read the last sentence of your post.
