I've put this in the "technical" section, but I get nothing, so I'll move to here. So these past 5-6 weeks I've noticed my phone being really strange. I really don't understand at all, I've tried different ROMs, wiping over and over, but I get nothing. I don't know how to fix it, this is the first time it has ever done this. I included two pictures, so please look at them and tell me if you all have ever had any problems like this. Please help, or else I'll have to get a new phone, which I kind of want to do, but I love my D1 and can't let it go.

Looks like hardware issues, your screen is dead or on its last leg

    drop it or anything?

Replace the digitizer/screen or get a new phone. Check with local cell phone repair shops. Or buy a digitizer/screen on Ebay and replace it yourself. I've seen tutorials and it didn't look too difficult. I don't have a link, but search it - you'll find something.

    Agree with Bayou

Seems your screen/digitzer just went bad. AS for how it went back, can't answer that for you.

    Good luck!

To paraphrase the opening of "Outer Limits"

There is nothing wrong with your Droid. Do not attempt to adjust the screen. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image, make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity. ..... You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to... The Outer Limits.

Just a little humor! (Very little).
