I hate to post to other sites, but rather than reiterate, if you see the post below...

Is anyone else facing this odd issue. I can't seem to recreate it, but it happens to me at least twice a week.

This happens to me occasionally. Definitely not all the time, and I can't figure out what causes it.

The quickest way I've found to turn audio output back on is...to do a screenshot. The screenshot sound always kicks the volume back on.

The only bad side effect is that you get a bunch of random screenshots piling up over time. ;) But it's not that bad because the problem is intermittent and doesn't happen often.

The SoundAbout app from that link works.

I have a Droid 4, and my notifications are set to announce who is calling or texting me, but then the phone doesn't ring. When I go into my sound settings, the "vibrate and ring" is unchecked. I "check" it, but the next time it doesn't ring again. What am I doing wrong I also have a problem with my wallpaper. It keeps defaulting back to the original one I selected.
