Droid 4 always gets super hot and freezes a lot!

hi,

my droid 4 gets really hot and slows down. anyone have suggestions for cache cleaner app or something? there are so many apps out there, i don't know what to try! right now, i'm just using dolphin companion to speed it up. it makes it a little better, i suppose...

what else should i do?

Look in battery statistics and see what is hogging power. Make sure GPS is off when you aren't intentionally using it. I don't care for dolphin. Stock with labs enabled works fine for me on XT912, which is essentially the same device except slider, screen size, and battery size.
