I've gotten into the habit of turning off my phone once a week and rebooting. When I don’t do this, the apps seem to bog down things get a bit squirrely. Over the last month or so, I’ve started having trouble turning the phone back on. Once I turn it off, I have to let it sit for quite a while (up to a day) before it will turn back on. When the issue first started, I would take the battery out and put it back in and that seemed to solve the issue. Now that doesn’t work anymore. The phone is 100% OEM. I haven’t modded it at all.

Any ideas what is going on and what I can do about it?

If its not turning on, there's not much you can do about it other than keep attempting the battery pull or file a warranty or insurance claim.

Ha.

Umm, I've not heard of it, but there is obviously some sort of hardware issue. The more common issue is the "white screen of death."
