I had my droid 3 rooted. The downside was that I was getting dropped calls everyday. I then unrooted the phone, however since I rooted the phone; I can no longer use my phone to tether to my computer. At this point I just want my original stock phone back the way I bought it. The problem is I am having difficulty removing the clockwork recovery function before bringing it back to Verizon for help. It appears that my computer no longer recognizes my phone when I plug in the usb cable. When using pda net, it now says "connecting to phone", but just freezes in the process, and does not actually connect.
Please help, as I am sorry I experimented with the phone, and now want to tether

If you want the phone the way you bought it, you must flash it using rsd lite and a .sbf file. See here for full instructions :

You will lose whatever data is on your phone, so back up your pictures, music, etc. (To your external memory card, if you can't connect to computer?)

If you want to tether with the hotspot app, search for TBH Radiocomm hack.
