Droid 3 Quick Contact Widget on Another Gingerbread Phone

Is it possible to get the Droid 3 quick contact widget on another phone running Gingerbread? I just updated my D2G to Gingerbread, and I was hoping this was the new standard Quick Contact widget. Alas, it is not. Does anyone know if it is possible to get the widget on it's own?

as far as i know, which isnt much except what i read...the quick contact widget wont work on other launchers or phones because it is built into the BLUR for the d3...not sure if anyone can figure out a way to strip it from there and make an apk but as of now id assume the answer is no

malaka is correct. The quick contact is an addition of Motorola and is not part of the Gingerbread ROM.

That widget is coded into their new blur. You can't even run it on a 3rd party launcher on the D3.
