Droid 3 max cpu temperature?

What is the max temperature that you should go to for the droids 3 cpu?

It will shut off if the temperature gets too high just like many computers do, in order to prevent damage. I can't tell you what temperature that is at though.

Ok thanks, does anyone else know any sort of critical temperature though?
I know the battery can't go over 60•C but that's likewise with just about any battery

coolbho3000 (SetCPU dev) recorded 184F on his google nexus (omap4460) at STOCK speed I'm thinking max for our omap4430 is around the same as the 4460. If that helps at all.

Yea 80F is around 30C and SetCPU had an auto option to super underclock once the cpu hit 60C so that would sound about right to me as well

That feature is actually incorporated into the OMAP SoC's now, after a certain temperature it will throttle the frequency to cool off the cpu.
