Hi,
My Droid 3 apparently has what Motorola calls "Liquid Damage." The phone works, but it won't stop vibrating. It is not an issue of settings or apps, it is a hardware issue. I don't care at all what has to be done, even if I have to open the phone and rip the vibrating electronic piece out.

Does anyone have any (preferably cheap) ideas on how to stop a phone from vibrating at all times? it even vibrates while turned off. Only taking the battery out stops it, but once u put the battery back it just vibrates constantly again.

That is a typical symptom of liquid damage. You can take the phone apart and remove the vibrate "piece," but I would just suggest a new phone.

So you know, my tongue is bleeding, ive had to bite it so hard...but yes, about the only thing you can do is take the piece out if you arent able to get a new phone.

Well, why don't you just say whatever you wanted to say.

Like Urban and smoke suggested, those are your only to options. If you want to tear it apart, ifixit.com has in-depth tutorials.
