so i just got my droid 2 about a week ago and finally sat down and got it rooted.
I now have the superuser permission app on my phone, and from what i can tell, its working.
I don't really know what to install/do now, i really want to remove all the motorola junk that came on the phone but i am having a hard time finding a program that will do this, i am probably just doing it wrong.
if anyone has any ideas or suggestions that would be great.

You can either use root explorer to remove them completely or use titanium backup app (premium version) to freeze the apps. Because by ota failed last time after removing factory apps, I decided to freeze them. Also check out the following apps:

    wifi tethering
    spare parts
    droid 2 bootstrap
