Droid 2 music issues

OK so now my music player(default music player) and my other music player(poweramp) application are bother messing up getting real low pitch and static and static and going in and out and I know it's my phone is this something Verizon will fix or will I have to wait until something really bad happens to my phone

You can try clearing your cache, and if that doesn't work factory data reset. Power off your phone, then power back on while holding "X." When the triangle with the "!" appears, press the search button/magnifying glass. You will get a menu (if it doesn't come up, press the down volume key), select wipe cache, then reset phone. If that fails to fix it, go through the same process, then select wipe data/factory reset, then restart phone.
