So, has anyone actually determined if JRummy16's Droid Overclock app works as far as undervolting goes?

I purchased it, and I'm currently using it like I did SetCPU, for the scaling profiles (so I can lower my CPU speed when the screen is off, etc).

Has anyone actually tested the "Set Scaling Frequencies" option?

How does this even work? I can't seem to figure it out, since the scaling values I choose don't align with what I have set in my profiles.

Anyone have any help for this? I'd love to figure it out and tweak my Droid so I can squeeze some more battery life out of it.

I asked him, directly via email. That feature section doesn't work on the D2G. Basically just the stuff setcpu does and the extras work. Unfortunately, the most interesting feature isn't compatible.

You didn't happen to ask if he intended to add support for the Droid 2 Global, did you?

The app is great, and I don't feel like I wasted $1.50 by any means, but I was hoping to do some undervolting.

I asked him that a while back and got a 'hopefully soon'.
Maybe if he got more requests, it would help...

If you go under settings and choosebthe experimental module it works just fine. My D2G is currently at 1.35Ghz Low Voltage. Quadrant and a couple other apps confirmed.

And by the way with fission, I comfortably last at least 2 days with moderate use.

I'm giving it a try as well, it seems to be working.

I don't know if it will have an effect, or if it's actually doing anything, though.

In retrospect, I can't really tell if it's working or not.

Has anyone tested to confirm?

I emailed Jrummy and thanked him for the app, and asked about possible Droid 2 Global support.
