Hey guys,
So I was going through some other threads of folks with a D2G, and I can't seem to find anyone with a similar error as me.

What I've done so far:
I installed RSDLite on two computers, one 64 bit Win7 and another running 32bit XP. Both used the 4.9 version of RSDLite. I also used the .29 version ROM.

I first tried it on the Win7 PC and got this error. Then I tried the same the thing on the XP but to no avail.

Here is the error I get on the Bootloader screen:

Code:
Bootloader
D0.11
Err: A5,70,70,00,1F

NEW_MAP Blank
Service Req'd
Battery OK
OK to program
Connect to USB
Data Cable

I could not find anywhere that referenced those error codes.

I was downgrading from 2.4.330 I believe.

Anyways, let me know what you all think.
This phone was so bogged down with Free Apps that it was pretty much unusable, but I would like to resurrect it if possible.
Thanks!

you bricked you phone till new SBF is found/leaked
update may have installed automatically

if you are sure you didn't update try ezSBF 4.5.608

Yes this second method was the one I used. The files I used were:

VRZ_A956_2.4.33_1FF_01.sbf (md5: 49cc34d07666c92c1a2a5779e2c74243)
DROID2WE_X6_2.4.29_FULL.sbf

I tried the 2.4.33 one first, which is where I first encountered the error.

I will add that even though RSDLite says "PASS" after every load, the error persists.
Also, it has never booted to the Motorola "M" screen.

Also maybe worth noting, I used the latest version of RSDLite with the 2.4.33, and when that did not work, I used the 4.9 version with the 2.4.29, which also did not work.

Looking through another site, this guy said that he fixed his problem with Ubuntu. Link I have an Ubuntu box but I am not too familiar with the system. I also found this technique that uses a boot cd for a linux distro to do it. Anybody think either of these will work? I can't find a write-up on what the first guy did, but I assume it uses sbf_flash?

Thanks for all your help guys! Looks like this thing is now my new paper weight! Which adds slightly more functionality than it had yesterday :p
Is it possible that a new SBF will be released sometime in the future? Or have I found my next target for the gun range?

someone has to search motorola's server for it
not knowing excact name
could be days or months

edit: if you wait till SBF is found, you could fix, then sell on ebay
