Droid 2 Global low and/or no volume during calls

Has anyone had a problem with low volume during a call on the Droid 2 or Droid 2 Global? During a call the volume drops to barely a whisper or sometimes 0 volume. It goes away if I reboot the phone. I think it also works if I just use the speakerphone.

It seems worst when I'm roaming in another country (e.g. Canada on CDMA and Europe on GSM).

I'm on Android 2.2, system version 2.4.330_A956.verizon.en.us

Same volume problem with Droid 2 Global;

I have the same problem, even the speaker phone doesn't work. I can barely hear the person on the other end although they can hear me fine.
