droid 2 flash drive?

I have a droid 2 and I want to use it as a flash drive while I re load windows on my computer (restore factory settings). So I want to bring all of my songs (like 400 songs) off my computer and on too the droid then load them from the droid back on to the computer so I don't have to re download them since everything will be erased on my computer. Is this possible? Sorry if its a dumb question I just want to make sure it will work before I try it.

Plug the Droid into the PC using the USB cable. Menu - notifications, change to USB mass storage.
