I have done some experimenting and have figured the Gallardo being the best in the 1/4 mile. I currently have mine semi-built it has Tier 4 everything 676000/70000, Level 6. Now most people in this class run 9.0+ and with a little tuning your lambo can run a consistent 8.8x. Here is my current tune

NOS: 2.38 @ 126%
FD: 3.528
1st: 3.364
2nd: 2.187
3rd: 1.460
4th: 1.189
5th: 0.987
6th: 0.780

Now this is for racing level 6, it is rare that you lose with this car. If i were to guesstimate id say i win 9/10 times. The only other car that can be me is another lambo running consistant 8.7x, trying to tune the car a little more if i succeed i will post up but this setup will be 90% of people on level 6.

btw my ratios are close to guy up top but i had these in before i found this post :icon_ banana::icon_ banana:

oh ya, shift into 2nd, hit nos, shift into 3rd and so on for best time, if u hit it in 3rd or 4th u will run a 9.0+ and if u run without nos it should be around 9.4

I am running the level 4 bmw m3 E92. Lowest quarter i can run after tune is 9.70. I see people dip as low as .64. Does anyone know of a tune that can achieve this?

Winning!! I figured out how to run a pretty consistant 8.7x in the Lambo @ level 6, 99% of people racing level six can't break 9.0 seconds so you win every race, only others with a chance is lambo's and they still cant keep up.

Here is my exact build so you can go earn some money if u dont have a built 6+ car yet. In my opinion the maxed lvl 6 lambo is better then the fully maxed lambo

TUNE:
Tier 4 on every engine upgrade, Tier 5 on tires. 700,000/700,000 points. Level 6

Nos: 2.38s @ 126%
FD: 3.528
1st: 3.364
2nd: 2.187
3rd: 1.603
4th: 1.237
5th: 0.987
6th: 0.780

I usually make $6500+ per run
1/4 mile: 8.7-8.9
dont race the half mile this is a 1/4 car with this tune
Hit nos as soon as u switch to 2nd gear

winning let me know results

Alright guys, I've been playing with the Pagani Zonda for a couple days. I think?
And I've been keeping it at a level 7 with that bar maxed out on the 1/4 mile and I've been hitting like 8.7xx. again the only car giving me a problem is the Lambo and occasionally the black Ferrari.

but right now my tunings are:
Nos: 2.00
F/D: 3.010
1st: 3.025
2nd: 2.322
3rd: 1.778
4th: 1.328
5th: 0.900
6th: 0.660

I'm trying to keep it at a level 7 so if you can tune it better to hit a better time please let us know!

I have upgraded the Aero TT within level 9 and tuned it a little
and manage to get 11.360 on the 1/2 track.

One could probably do better. Now saving to get a new car

My tuning (or actually my girlfriend did this):
135% n02, 1.673 final drive. 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th/6th- 2.827/2.268/1.968/1.683/1.495/1.365

Max out the engine before start -> shift immediately to gear 2, then perfect shift to gear 3 + immediate nitro -> good/perfect shifts from here on

currently I am using the Ultimate Aero TT, keeping it max at lvl 9 before i have enough respect and money to fully upgrade everything.

engine stage 3
turbo stage 4
intake/exhaust maxed
nito maxed
weight stage 4
wheels stage 2

I'm using the setting u gave, and I can't hit 11.360 as u indicated, currently getting 11.5ish. can you shed some light on what could help?

P.S. if anyone has a good tune for the Aero TT, plz dont hesitate to share.

Just a FYI to people

If you started a game on the Market version then installed a Beta (non market) version on top your save will be fine. HOWEVER if you ever go back to the Market version (update) your save will be erased. I lost 2 cars and all my Pro league points.

sucks but dont want anyone else to do this not knowing.

Ferrari 599 help

VERY addicting game!! Just be careful and don't buy the tune upgrade unless you know how to tune a drag car. I spent 4 hours at work last night trying to figure it out. So if anybody out there can help me that would be great!!

To helping you, I cannot except with the Ferrari 559.

For those who have problems winning lvl 7 1/2 races. Heres my current set up just for you. Yes, there are better, but not much, not that I have seen. I believe Ive been beat 10 times tops in over 1k races? And thats usually cause they get .005 or so faster... Or I'm tired and hit the N02 on accident.

Ferrari 559, maxed, tuned, 12.445-12.435 average. 135% n02, 2.007 final drive. 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th/6th- 3.311/2.561/2.089/1.737/1.477/1.293.

This is a over-rev setup. Perfect starts will ruin you, as with most cars actually. Max out RPM to start, instantly shift into 2nd gear (Will be perfect and will NOT spin tires if done right. Though a perfect shift and tires spinning only effects maybe .010 time). Shift into 3rd, instantly using n02. Every bit you wait, makes you slower from my experience, any earlier will spin tires. Then shift as normal. perfect or good hardly makes the difference.

This is a very easy to use setup. And as I said, 12.440's is hard to beat, but not the best. Experiment a little.

If anyone has a great setup for the SSC Ultimate or Hennessey, I'd love to see it. Cant find a good one for them for some reason.

Also for some help, for some cars... Mainly toward cars with more torque, maxed RPM start with a instant perfect shift often makes a good difference. Less tire spin and plenty of power to push through 2nd or even 3rd. As the tip says, 100% perfect shifts doesn't make a perfect run.

Drag Racing Nickname: OhNoItsMikey

Love to know if I've raced you, or better if you've beaten me. Share your info! =P

I did everything on your tutorial. ALL the same numbers on tuning and followed your instructions for starting off but it only gets me 13.2 secs and I get 12.8 on just stock alone. So it made my car worse. Could anyone help me out with my Ferrari 599? :icon_ banana:dancedroid

With the Audio I shift directly to 2nd off the line, rev to perfect shift into 3rd, then nos. The Koenig I start in 3rd off the line then nos between 4th & 5th. The Bugatti it NOS and 2nd gear off the line.
