Download Crutch.

    Alright I know its been taken off the market and I've searched this forum and the web and I want to know if there is still some way or some place to find it. My friend just got the droid and I've been hooking him up with all the apps i know you need and DC is one of them I have it on my phone is there anyway i can send it to him or any place to find it so he can download it?

    Astro File Manager, while a great file manager, also has a setting in it's menu to enable all downloads from the web, which is exactly what Download Crutch does/did.

    Certain file extensions aren't able to download on the Droid without an app to 'allow' them. Download Crutch did this.
    My post above mentions a resolution if you can't find Download Crutch.

    so is astro better than OI file manager?

    not per se. If OI works for you that's fine. But as I said, Astro has the setting to 'enable all downloads', exactly what Download Crutch did. I don't know if OI has that option.

    as far as i know there is no option for that I think I'll give Astro a try. Thanks
