Double-Tap

Has anyone had issues with the Double-Tap to Silence not working? I have never had the opportunity to use it until this weekend and it did not work for me.

I am running a LauncherPro.

personally I just have a widget on my lock screen (widget locker) that allows me to switch the phone into vibrate or silent quickly. It is possible that LP is blocking the double tap feature by not sending the right call to the right place at the right time, but only you testing this out by using the default UI and trying it again can prove this. You also can not rule out human error. Hard to say for sure based on 1 attempt.

I am afraid to even use the double tap or face down since all the problems in 2.1 ...I know 2.2 was supposed to fix but with all the apps out there that do the same thing I think i would try one of those.
