Apple releases 1 new phone a year, I doubt they'll make a dual core iPhone for verizon this year, it's all speculation, rumor, and BS.

As you can see with anything apple, when they release something, or are planning on releasing something, it's all over the news.

I didn't know you bama turds slept with girls... Go Vols!

    haha I kid, I kid.

Seriously though, the iPhone 4 is laughable to me. A new screen and hardware that will be outdated by droid devices in a few months. woo freakin' hoo....

But our current droid devices will also be outdated, unless you have $600 to spare every 3 months your phone will be outdated pretty quickly, but luckily the motodroid is a beast of a machine, and seems to keep up pretty well even 7 or so months after it came out.

I would have figured it was pretty clear by now, but there's always those that need it explained more than once. If you own an iphone, I wouldnt want to be around you. Not that I think you or any other iphone owner cares, nor would I expect you to. It's not like I think I'm punishing people by not being around them lol, thats just my preference. I also tend to avoid people that smoke cause I dont like cigarette smoke, same principle.

The internet - 100% of your daily dose of sarcasm. It's amazing how people online think they can diagnose you're personality by reading a couple of your posts.

I would follow your iphone hating philosophy, however I live in the middle of nowhere PA and my neighbors across the street, which is odd considering normally they should be a mile down the road, both have iphones, so I can't discriminate.
But I do share your hatred of apple and all the crap they put out and people eat up.

I couldn't agree more. I was an Apple fan for a while, but having android was something extremely refreshing for me! It was different than a lot of things out on the market, and there is no way that I would ever go back to anything else.

As much as I dislike ios hype I hate to admit that the screen is really nice. I really wish they made android phones to the degree of detail that apple designs their phones in addition to the quality of hardware. I don't know why but the touch sensitivity on most android screens aren't as smooth as the iPhart. I'd really love to see some high quality painting apps on android. And I hope they make an app for android that can edit video.

Out of all the "new" features IOS has, the only thing i like is the Extended battery life and the screen...Well and being able to update to a new phone early. Hopefully Verizon will do that when the Droid 2 comes out :)

I thought the iMovie software was pretty neat. Though it costing $5 as a separate add-on kind of brought it down a few notches. Of all the things to nickel and dime their users on...

You could say the same thing about the $10 fee on the EVO for 4G speeds, even if you are not in a 4G area. Try taking a flight now a days, talk about being nickle and dimed to death!

Yeah... Here's a brand new feature! But it'll cost you some random fee. Got to love the world.

Still, can't deny that Steve did a great job showing it all off and getting the hopes up. Only to pop it with a $5 needle. But hey, at least it wasn't a $9.99 "premium Apple app". :p

I loved the situation, where Steve's AT&T Phone didnt load a webpage, he asked the crowd "Any solutions?" and one guy yelled "VERIZON!!!" ;)

I have to add that for the past few WWDCs, the iPhone that was unveiled made me look at my current phone and wished it had some of those features. I'm sure the iPhone users were far more excited from being able to go from what the 3GS has to the 4, as it's a fairly big upgrade for them. Me, on the other hand, already had the majority of those improvements and then some on my months old Droid. It was really a lot of "meh" moments (partly thanks to Gizmodo taking away 90% of the thunder).

This year, I was far more excited by what was presented at Google I/O. It seems like Google's the one creating these innovative features and Apple's just coming from behind and polishing it up and adding fancy marketing names and buzz words to them. "Retina Display" just seems...cheesy.
