Hi guys,

to all of you who are as eager for root as /me:

Dan Rosenberg popped up at XDA developers. He is the author of several sophisticated Linux exploits. To have an impression about his skills, check his website:
Security Research by Dan Rosenberg
He said he found a vulnerability in the D3 kernel he possibly could use to write an exploit. But he would need a device to test and develop on.

If you think, like me, that is the best chance for root we have right now, and you have some spare money, please consider to donate:

[Q] [REQ] In need of dev device - xda-developers

I hope it is not against forum rules to link to other similar forums. Couldn't find such a rule. Sorry if I missed it.

Links/steps/instructions will be posted once the root-er gets confirmation of a Droid 3 donated to him. So everyone just donate a few dollars and it'll be good to go....
I've already made my donation.

So he rooted the Droid 3 without having a Droid 3 to work on, so now he is waiting to get one donated to him, I don't get it.

To be or not to be........................wait what was the question? This signature has been Tapatalk approved.
