I know it is not the full one, but seems like they offered something after 1 year as well?
If you have a plan that's 79.99 or higher before discounts you can upgrade the primary line on your account after 12 months and get the 2 year purchase price on the phones. All other lines must wait a minimum of 18 months.
Wallmart has the Droid for $20. Get it through them.
For new accounts only.
If you call customer service and say that you're not happy with your current phone, and it may take more then one call, they will work with you. At a discounted price but not the best discount they have. I did it after 12 months with the Blackberry Storm. So it can be done. If you know how to stomp your feet, cry and make a big scene.:icon_ banana::icon_ banana:
Thanks guys. Wife has my old BB Tour and just hates it. Not sure if she will get a Droid or not, but definitely not another BB. I am actually thinking of waiting until the Nexus one makes it here and go for that. I actually may consider using it and letting her have the Droid since I never use my Droid's physical board. I just love my Droid so much that I am not sure.
well yeah but thats more work then its worth. i used to have VIP and was able to upgrade every 10 months at the 2 year price. but they stopped that program back in Feb. :icon_evil::icon_evil:
Ok...since this is ongoing. Any new words on upcoming android phones to Verizon?
Hardly. 2 phone calls and an extra days wait. That was all it took for me.
I can be extremely persuasive.
