I have just noticed this recently, I have my Droid for two months and use it almost every day to listen to music and its starting to get really annoying! I was debating on whether or not to try and get it replaced but since there's a simple fix hopefully it will work for me too. I have the same problem with my headunit auxiliary Jack maybe it will fix that too. Thanks for the info!
