does Samsung have soak tests? how do u sign up?

I've always had Motorola devices and I was a soak tester for my bionic before I switched to the s3.
Do Samsung phones gets soak tested before being released or its that just a Moto thing?

I'm sure they do, but I don't think it's anything "public" like what Moto does. There's a website, Samsung Updates | Latest firmware for your Samsung phone! Not affiliated with Samsung in any way. , where the factory images are normally released / leaked. Not sure if the people that run it just have connections or what (though they say they're not affiliated in any way to Samsung).

They might do something similar to HTC. HTC has a group they "soak" with - I can't remember what it's called now. But it's much more exclusive and harder to become a part of. There are a few guys on XDA who are a part of it who normally provide leaked files for HTC builds b/c of that. I bet Sammy's similar.

Maybe someone who knows for sure will chime in, but that's my guess based on what I've seen over the past few years!
