Does Froyo fix the 'too many attempts' lockout issue on Moto Droid?

I thought I read it was fixed with 2.1....but my significant other just managed to prove that theory was wrong. *sigh*

Anyone know if that will be fixed at any point? :reddroid:

If you set a lockout pattern, then mess it up too many times in a row it locks you out. It will take you to a screen that asks you to enter your google account info to verify who you are, but it will not accept your info nor allow you to unlock it.

The only fix I know of is to flash it again. :icon_eek:
