    Hello,

What application I need in order to play avi files on a standard Droidx?
I copied an avi file but I get a message "Error: file cannot be displayed or played". What's up with that?

    Thank you in advance.

    Try using RockPlayer.

When copying the file over to the Droid X, you didnt get a pop-up asking you if you wanted to "convert the file" or just transfer it over? The phone will convert non-playable files into playable format if you allow it to...

For those who dont want to convert, the aforementioned RockPlayer seems to be a great app...
