No, but Verizon does. :>) I upgraded my wife's phone this past summer at Costco and was not charged any upgrade fee at Costco, but Verizon tacked it on to my bill on the next cycle.

...and you won't get the $30 renewal credit if your account is out of contract. Just bought a new samsung note II. I looked at all the options and Verizon offers the best terms unless you are moving from another network.

just upgraded my phone via costco the other day. no $30 activation fee, but they did charge a $15 upgrade fee? kinda ridiculous, but it's slightly better than $30
