    Actually...are you looking for 2.0 or 2.0.1?

If you are looking for the latter and want to be unrooted also, then go with this one.

    http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...st-way-get-back-stock-no-root-no-busybox.html

If you dont care to be unrooted, then you probably made a backup of your 2.0.1 within sprecovery. You could just go back to that.

I would say he is talking about the actual 2.0, I would be curious to try this also. Of course you would probably have to block OTA updates cause you would get the 2.0.1 update as soon as you installed it, but I would do it just simply for the fact of getting back the rotating wheel lockscreen! I loved that, it set the Droid apart from other smartphones like the iphone, in that aspect. But they just had to change to like almost all popular phones

We must be asking for something that is really stupid or really hard. I've Googled to no avail.

I think everyone was so excited to get 2.0.1 that no one made a backup before updating.

true, the OP was talking about 2.0 (i've looked high and low and can't find an original 2.0 anywhere), but i was responding to tktouch12.

I kept thinking I should read first and update later but I did it anyway. I think I have until Wed to return my phone. Wonder if I swapped it out if the new one would be 2.0
