I was curious if anyone was using locate my droid or lookout I just put them both on and by the looks of it I think they do the same thing. Keep one or the other?

I have only had my phone for a couple of weeks and it was recommended to me by my son and his friends. He has had it on his X which he got when it first came aout and friends have used it even longer. Not sure about the other but Lookout seems to be pretty solid.

i tried out lookout after seeing that commercial. I dont believe i need an anti-virus but ok.

just tested the gps locate and its saying my phone is about 5 min from here and the phone is sitting in front of me so id say for the most part if the phone is stolen you are SOL. I dont understand why this is so far off when if you use navigation its perfect?

and there isnt a way to stop the siren until it times out

Actally there is a way to stop the siren. All you have to do is turn down the phones volume when you find the phone.:icon_ banana::icon_ banana:As for the GPS mine was right on target. Love this app.
