I heard that the Nexus running 2.1 had voice integrated into everything including email etc...

So my question is then can we speak our emails into the phone when we get the upgrade? If so - even better than Swype!

That's my question too. Does the 2.1 upgrade include all the abilities the Nexus One has?

Having the ability to speak messages would be terrific. Even if at this point it's not all that accurate - for example if I were speaking this now it would read this way.

Having the watermelon to leak messages could be traffic.

TalktoMe keyboard turns any app that supports keyed entry into a voice ready app. I used the default keyboard for maybe four days, found this, and never looked back.

It's not voice command, but it is accurate if you talk clearly. It's only a four star because some people must have busted mouths.

Speaking of watermelons, reminds me of how many comments there are on Market where people love this "apparently" instead of "application."

Handcent SMS has a built-in Text-to-Speech option. It works pretty well, imo.

Hey, I wrote an entire BOOK (free download on my website) using Dragon Systems Naturally Speaking software in the late 90's. It was an incredible experience that has grown exponentially since then.

I don't use voice software to write emails, but I don't think it's too far in the future. Check out "Did You Know III" on Youtube to get a DIFFERENT perspective on technology and education.
