Decided the Droid is a keeper and wanted this app....

Went to the "Market" today and its not $19.99 (still a good price!) but on sale for $9.99. Believe this price is good until December 6th.

Heck of a value for this program. Been using it for years on Palm platforms and absolutely LOVE it!

Nice catch, I was holding off on purchasing this until I really needed it, but at this price I might as well get it now.

How does this compare to Google Docs? What would make it worth paying for over Google Docs? I might get it, if there's a compelling reason.
    Thanks,
    Kent

Google docs has a size limitation. I believe it is 500kB.

You can edit and create Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with D2G. @Meh, off the top of my head, I know that it can support .doc and .docx for Word. It's a good deal; prior to this it sold on sale for $14.99. I don't think it would sell for much lower--that is, until someone (like google) starts offering a similar program for free. However, D2G has been the premier productivity software for as far as I can remember, and I worked in the telecom industry from 03 to 08 and worked for every major carrier except T-mobile. In 2006, even won Top Data Sales Award in Central South Texas for VZW (ahhh that is my Al Bundy polk high moment; with a little more substance---that is, lol).

    I'm the thread starter here........

I can tell you this, Documents To Go from DataViz Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've used their products on Palm for several years.

At one time I paid as much as $40 just for an upgrade, and considered that a bargain for the functionality and the dependability.

Knowing them they will soon introduce a "port" to sync your docs to your desktop (and vice-versa). This is invaluable!

If you think you need, or will ever need Excel, Word, Powerpoint or Adobe PDF support on your Droid.......do yourself a favor and JUMP WITH BOTH FEET directly and immediately on this deal!

In the words of King Solomon....or someone with Biblical impact......a word to the wise is sufficient.
