Multi-touch, or pinch-and-zoom?

I can multi-touch (double tap) my screen and it zooms in or out, so as far as I know it's already supported.

don't think so. I think Apple has a pretty tight hold on multitouch.

Double tap is not multi-touch, you're only touching the screen at 1 place at any time. Multi-touch is pinch-and-zoom, which allows the screen to recognize multiple touches at the same time.

Not so much, HP has multi-touch on some of their devices, and the Palm Pre has it.

Download Swype (look up the thread it's not on the market) and you won't care about multi touch.

MultiTouch is not in the 2.1 software release which has been ported to the Droid so it most likely won't be in the next Droid update.
