Do we need a cleaner for droid??

    Hello new to droid - I use a program on my pc to clear history and cache and such. Do I need something like this for my droid. Tks for your help and the fourms - Commando by casio

    Generally no. The only way to clear those things is in recovery. Most cache cleaners in market need root access.

    An occasional reboot will rebuild the dalvik-cache and your phone will seem speedy again!

    In the application settings you can clear cache on individual apps.

    FWIW, there is an app called SD Maid, and another called 1Tap Cleaner.
