Just rooted only to run stock and use wireless tether, ad free and set CPU with stock kernel. Is it necessary to make nandroid backup or use Titanium backup, SPRecovery or things like that if I won't be installing custom ROM, or themes or changing kernels and things like that? What do I do now to be safe? Thanks.

I would always have a nandroid backup. If something happens and you can get into recovery, you can get your phone back working EASILY!
