Do games look poor on the Droid 4?

I tried out Angry Birds on the Droid 4 at the Verizon store, and the was black streaking on the birds (I noticed the same thing on the Droid 3, which apparently has the same screen). This looks terrible to me and I want to play 2D games on the Droid 4 (Nintendo emulators as well) but I'm not sure it's going to gross me out or not. Games look great on my OG Droid... but the thing has a smaller screen and not a lot of memory.

What is your experience with games on the Droid 4?

The Nexus is not an option as it's too big for me and I want a keyboard. Please only reply if you've played games on the Droid 4.
