I'm constantly getting a notification from the DLNA app that says "The network connection has been lost". I've never even tried setting up a connection I just opened the app once to see what was in there. Then when I click on the notification it brings me to the Add Accounts screen for adding email, facebook, picasa, etc. accounts.

I tried going into the DLNA settings to see if I could disable anything but I didn't see anything that would stop this. Anybody have any ideas on how I can stop these notifications?

I have been having that problem with DLNA too. If anyone figures out how to turn it off, I would certainly appreciate it.

Same DLNA Message issue - opened a ticket with Motorola support

Yeah, I have the same issue - it seems that rebooting may have stopped the messages.

But if I go into DLNA again at all, these messages seem to appear every time I enter and then leave a wireless network. I contacted Motorola support, waiting for a response. I think this issue started after I did the update today. Glad I'm not the only one seeing this.

As much as I love the concept behind DLNA, I have yet to see it implemented well anywhere... I have had the same issue with clicking on the DLNA notification and having it bring up the accounts screen, obviously some sort of bug, if you ask me, the DLNA app is half baked and needs alot of work

There is a system process called dlnasrv that is killing my battery. Does anyone know if I can safely stop it without hurting normal phone function? I have never used DLNA and I have no desire to. Thanks.

The Playstation 3 combined with PS3 Media Server on my desktop is the only reliable DLNA implementation I've seen. Having a couple terabytes of media ready for immediate streaming and/or on the fly reencoding is great.

However, my Droid X keeps connecting to the PS3MS, and is quite annoying. Too bad there isn't a "Disable DLNA" toggle somewhere on the phone... or is there?

Was able to kill the process by rebooting the phone. Definitely do not ever click on this app. It was wreaking havoc on my battery.
