All of a sudden now I have a game launcher app that keeps showing up in my toolbar. Any way to scrap this junk app?

Did you try going to setting>apps and try to uninstal the app? Or is it a Sammy bloatware app?

What do you mean by "all of a sudden"? I've never heard of any Games Launcher bloat from Samsung. Can you post a screen shot?

This GameMode. No way to uninstall it, looks to be a Galaxy App, I can't even find it in the Galaxy Apps. The only way I locate it so far, is when it shows up on the tool bar with a "GameMode has been updated message". I'll take a screenshot of that next time I see it.

Anyone else have this on their phone?

Hmm. Note 4 here. I see it under applications on my.phone as well. Never knew I had it, nor have I ever heard of it.

That's interesting. I've never seen that before. I went into the Galaxy Apps store and couldn't even find it there.
That said, Sammy has been busy updating their app store. It's gotten quite extensive! Perhaps a sign to come to coincide with the latest Tizen news....

Have you tried Phone Settings, All, scroll down to it, disable it?
Also I don't know if you can still do it on M but with my 5.1 I can long press notifications in the tool bar and it takes me to where I can turn off notifications for it in the notifications bar

OK for some reason I can't upload this screen shot. But it comes up as a notification at least a few times a day that GameService has been updated. So annoying, no way to disable as that option is grayed out in settings.

Look for Game Launcher and disable that and it should work. Game launcher is a new thing built into the 7 that puts your downloaded games into a folder or something. I disabled it asap

Also go into the Galaxy Store and turn off auto update . Open store tap icon in upper right, settings, auto update, turn off.

I don't even see that under All Apps. The only place I can find that is under galaxy apps and the only option is Open which is grayed our. No way to disable it.
