Disable the media dock sensor?

Awright I dropped my droid in a river and amazingly it is still working except for the fact that it ALWAYS thinks it's in the media dock. I Got an app called DockControl that prevents the clock from continuously launching but the phone is stuck in landscape mode which is super annoying. I'm fairly good with this phone and had it rooted and what not since Dec. I also themed some roms myself but I can't figure out how to shut down the media dock sensor or force it into landscape.

Any help is greatly appreciated. And uhhh... Please Help!

hmmm...sounds hardwareish...have you tried to put some pretty strong magnets on the back of it and slide them around a bit?
