Disable screen lock?

Is there a way to not have the screen lock on timeout? Would like to be able to only lock it manually with the button.

Closet thing I can think of is Screebl... while it won't do exactly what you want you can set the time for something ridiculous (60sec) which would ensure it wouldn't go off. The other thing is to check with the "we hate the lock screen" group/thread (do a search) and see if they have some suggestions.

the 'we hate the lock screen thread' will direct you to an app in development called myLock. search by that name and you'll find it.

I did indeed find that thread and installed myLock lite last night. It is (almost) perfect for what I was looking for.

myLock is still beta. The developer is working toward releasing it on the Market, so it will only get better

I can't figure out which version I'm supposed to have. But it's nice to know that there are others with the same problem. Went to a Verizon store tonight before I found this thread.
