When you are getting a call all you have to do is turn the phone faced down and the ringer is silenced. Pretty cool little feature. Just found this out!

Just did it on my Eris. Worked perfect! Great, and handy, trick. Thanks for sharing.

umm... cplus... whats the SG601? the moto droid?

Im assuming its only an Eris thing (or HTC thing). The more I am reading, I am finding more and more dis-similarities between the two (verizon) droid phones.

np, LoneWolfArcher. Saw it on another board somewhere and thought id share it here.

Yeah i think it's been posted once or so before, i remember reading it, but it is a pretty nice feature to have. Well the main differences really are just the sense-ui.

I'm using Smoked Glass ROM 6.0.1 on a Verizon DROID. I see it must be a sense-ui/htc feature.

I hope this doesn't work on my Droid! Who knows how my phone may be lying in my purse at any given time! This could make me miss calls!

I think you'd be safe. It would take the thing flipping over while in your purse from a light area to dark to deactivate it.
